Catching Up …

Aaron ran a race last Saturday, poor thing, his knees hurt for the first 3rd of the race. =( But he pushed through. He's trying to improve his PR. He's doing a good job. He was interviewed this last race. A guy was doing a report on XC and just picked Aaron and asked him a few questions. What a stud!

A few days later we say a hawk RIGHT outside our window! It was tearing apart an animal … It was SOO AWESOME!

Here are long-awaited pictures of the curtains I've made! They took a little while to do and they're not the most professional looking, but they work! The TV is in our room because Aaron and I are both sick. =( I wanted to lay in bed all day, so Aaron offered to put the TV in the bedroom, what a sweet man.

I made pillows to match my couch. I think they look nice … I just wish I made 1 more to go on the other end of the couch instead of the sprite pillow. Oh well. However, the caramel corn on the "coffee table" adds a nice touch.

Aaron's amazing feat

Aaron made himself a monster sandwich with our leftover roast. He even used the potatoes. This is his conquering!!

Our New Apartment!

Well, after a week of boxing things up and an hour of moving thing in, we have all of our stuff into our new apartment. Now it's time for the unpacking. We've surprisingly done a lot. We have company coming Tuesday, so we're booking it. Today I spent the day in the kitchen figuring out our limited cupboard space while Aaron cleaned our old apartment. I thought we were all moved out, but Aaron keeps coming back with more loose things. Ha ha. Our new apartment is a little smaller than the last, but we'll make due with some organizers. It is a 2 second walk to the laundry and mail vs our old 2 minute walk. The visitor's parking is a lot closer too. I knew today and tomorrow would be crazy so I used our new crockpot this morning. I made a roast with gravy, onions, potatoes, basil, bay leaves and cream of mushroom soup. It was so good, the meat was sooo tender, and it made a lovely (a bit watery) gravy. Here are pictures of our apartment and progress.

This is the vew when you walk in
Here is the view a little further back.

This is our bedrooom, a little smaller than our last place. Oh well.
Here's the bathroom.
Just to the right as you walk in.
Here is our lovely kitchen. =)

We're so excited to have our own place with our own things. Our last aparment was someone elses and we were just living there while they were gone for the semester. It'll be nice to have our very own place. I'll update when we're done!

Down to one hand!

Well, I'ts finals week, and I have already taken 4 finals. I have 3 more plus 2 quizzes. It's been quite a heavy semester. =) But hey, I'm alive now.
We recieved some sad news Sunday, Aaron's grandfather Wendel Bagley passed away Saturday night. The funeral will be held on Monday, and Aaron's family has asked him to sing at it. I might even accompany him. =) We had to change out honeymoon plans to accomidate, but we did it gladly.
Aaron has just a few more days at work! he works at the gracery store in town and he manages the freezers. He's always cold when he comes home, and being in ferezing Wyoming probaly doesn't help with that one. ;)
Our wedding is just a few days away and I am soo excited! I'll see my parents and Heather on Thursday, and Aaron will come up Friday and then we get married the next morning! =)

Ok so I caved in ...

Yeah that's right ... I caved, I made a blog. It seemed like the next step in the cyber world. ;) First you get an email address in high school, then you get a facebook account in college, then you get a blog when you're married. It all seems to fit. Anyways, Aaron and I are about to embark on a wonderful journey in our lives, in 10 days we will be married! I am so excited and I can't wait. I'm so tired of talking on the phone every night. Aaron barely gets reception in Wyoming, and I am at the mercy of my roommates for a phone because I don't get reception in my apartment either. I am so grateful that he has only been 2 hours away though. I do not know how I would handle not seeing him as often as I have. I love him to pieces, he is so sweet and so kind to me. He treats me like an angel. =) He's my handsome knight in shining armor.
