Easter with a side of Fail

Here is the extent of my easter decorations .... Yea. Well, I guess there is a lamb next to the TV too! But we have eggs, jello molds, baskets, presents, and that fake grass stuff. We're set when we get the candy on sale!
















This is my latest fail. My water bottle ... I lost my first one, so I bought a new one. This one has an attachable freezer stick thingy to keep my water cold! It's so cool. Well, I washed it once, no problem. I was it again and the lid warped just a little. Enough that the lid still fit, but it dripped when you tipped it over. I wash it again, no problem. I wash it a 4th time, and this happens. Bye bye bottle, back to square one for me! It gave us a little laugh though =)

St. Patties day

I saw this idea on a website Heather gave me. It was too cute to pass up. I am giving Aaron a pot of gold for St. Patties day but he has to follow the rainbows! Ok, so it's cheesy, but I thought it was cute.

Aaron's birthday

I threw Aaron a surpise party! It was so much fun. He had NO IDEA! He was gone all day. Then I picked him up from a test and everyone jumped out of the bathroom and surprised him. How fun! We played lots of games and ate muddie buddies, chocolate-chip brownies, 2 cakes, and chips and salsa. One of Aaron's old roomate's wife had a birthday the same day. We have a lot of mutual friends so we made it a party for her too. She got gifts and brought an icecream cake. It was a great night.

Becca came over and helped me make these yummy chocolate chip brownies! mmmm But with 2 cakes (Emily brought her own) and salsa, these weren't really touched. Oh well, more for us!

All the people that attened this party! Everyone I invited showed up! Even the silly boys that forgot but were gently reminded that Aaron would be dissapointed. And that there would be lots of food. They were not dissapointed.

Catching Up …

Aaron ran a race last Saturday, poor thing, his knees hurt for the first 3^rd of the race. =( But he pushed through. He's trying to improve his PR. He's doing a good job. He was interviewed this last race. A guy was doing a report on XC and just picked Aaron and asked him a few questions. What a stud!

A few days later we say a hawk RIGHT outside our window! It was tearing apart an animal … It was SOO AWESOME!

Here are long-awaited pictures of the curtains I've made! They took a little while to do and they're not the most professional looking, but they work! The TV is in our room because Aaron and I are both sick. =( I wanted to lay in bed all day, so Aaron offered to put the TV in the bedroom, what a sweet man.

I made pillows to match my couch. I think they look nice … I just wish I made 1 more to go on the other end of the couch instead of the sprite pillow. Oh well. However, the caramel corn on the "coffee table" adds a nice touch.

Aaron's amazing feat

Aaron made himself a monster sandwich with our leftover roast. He even used the potatoes. This is his conquering!!
