What’s up with that?

So here's our update. Thursday morning, our car didn't start. We assumed it was the battery (seeing as how we only drive it to campus and back, poor car) so we got our neighbor to jump it for us. While the engine was running, he heard a subtle clanking. It was our timing chain. Uh oh. He recommended a great auto shop, they've been great. I've had so many problems with mechanics here in Rexburg. We're so grateful to live so close to a trustworthy man that knows his cars. We're also grateful we got me a bike last fall. It's come in handy. We're biking everywhere now. It's a great workout! It's also been a great humility work out. It's hard for us to ask for help, so this is good for us to practice! I just hope we'll be able to help them when they need it.

On a side note, school is going great for us. Aaron's got some tough classes, but he is an O-chem lab assistant and he loves it! He was so excited! This will be so good for him, it'll give him a chance to review his O-chem for his PCAT (and get paid for it). I only have 12 credits this semester. The tests are a little hard, but that's about the extent of my schooling. I have about 7 required camping trips this semester. I know, me camping?!?! But I go! I'm still working it all out though. We bought a foam pad and Aaron had taught me to set up his tent. I've almost mastered his mummy bag … both times it's unzipped all the way (and the zipper unhooked) in the middle of the night due to the fact that I can't zip it all the way up :P I thought I broke it. Oh, and I forgot to mention that it's too small for me. Ha ha. We'll have to get a sleeping bag for me so that Aaron and I can camp together in Yellowstone this semester!

More is to come, but this is our crazy life so far!

We love you guys!

Easter with a side of Fail

Here is the extent of my easter decorations .... Yea. Well, I guess there is a lamb next to the TV too! But we have eggs, jello molds, baskets, presents, and that fake grass stuff. We're set when we get the candy on sale!

This is my latest fail. My water bottle ... I lost my first one, so I bought a new one. This one has an attachable freezer stick thingy to keep my water cold! It's so cool. Well, I washed it once, no problem. I was it again and the lid warped just a little. Enough that the lid still fit, but it dripped when you tipped it over. I wash it again, no problem. I wash it a 4th time, and this happens. Bye bye bottle, back to square one for me! It gave us a little laugh though =)

St. Patties day

I saw this idea on a website Heather gave me. It was too cute to pass up. I am giving Aaron a pot of gold for St. Patties day but he has to follow the rainbows! Ok, so it's cheesy, but I thought it was cute.

This is what he'll see when ge comes home.

Just around the corner ...

Down the Hall

There it is!

Happy St. Patties day y'all!

Coloring eggs

Yeah .... I went there
get it? Hard egg?!?
They're my hard-boiled eggs!

Aaron's birthday

I threw Aaron a surpise party! It was so much fun. He had NO IDEA! He was gone all day. Then I picked him up from a test and everyone jumped out of the bathroom and surprised him. How fun! We played lots of games and ate muddie buddies, chocolate-chip brownies, 2 cakes, and chips and salsa. One of Aaron's old roomate's wife had a birthday the same day. We have a lot of mutual friends so we made it a party for her too. She got gifts and brought an icecream cake. It was a great night.

This is the cake I made Aaron for his surprise party! Ok, so I MADE the cake and Jordan (Aaron's old roomate) decorated.

Becca came over and helped me make these yummy chocolate chip brownies! mmmm But with 2 cakes (Emily brought her own) and salsa, these weren't really touched. Oh well, more for us!

All the people that attened this party! Everyone I invited showed up! Even the silly boys that forgot but were gently reminded that Aaron would be dissapointed. And that there would be lots of food. They were not dissapointed.
